how do we start a music band?

Well, my dream is to go into Marketing. I've now decided on this and the only thing that bothers me is that I have to take Calculus. But, I really want this career for myself and I will work my damn hardest at this.

 

People have actually asked me why do you want to go into Marketing. "Is it 'cos of the money?" "You'd be a huge business tycoon you know." But no, those are not my reasons at all.

 

I want to go into Marketing because I love art, but i can't possibly make a stable living creating works of art. And I'm terrified at the thought of freelancing. So I researched a bit and art + business = Marketing! It seems the perfect way to do something I love, but with a bit of stability.

 

And just today riding my bike home with my dad, I told him, I know why I do well in Visual Arts- it's not because I can draw "brilliantly", or paint "magnificant" things...it's because I've got this knack for ideas and I carry them out. Sounds a bit conceited of me, but I believe it's the truth and that is why I feel drawn to Marketing. It's all about ideas.

 

Of course I'm speaking of Advertising or Marketing for movies, books or products..that's what I am really aiming at.
