Do you guys from all the different countries- Germany, France, Russia and what not, do u ever listen to local music. Like songs by your local artists that sing in your language. Because once it seemed to me that only the foreign song seemed to do reallly well amongst the ppl

 

in the last couple of years I find the israeli music inndustry really thriving. I myself listen to many songs in hebrew, and it's like the foreign music industry is way too commercial...

Well....some omths ago I still thought that german music sucks.....but I have found out about some really good artists...

 

yeah...so I listen more often to them now....

 

so german music is not that bad...

Yeah, there are some decent artists here in Croatia.

Swiss' is crap

To be honest I listen to Russian music (only 2-3 musicians) like, once a month or even less. I just don't stand it. People mostly don't even write songs by themselves, they only sing them. Ridiculous.

just like Julia, i thought that german music is crap.

BUT there are very cool german bands out there.

years ago (in the 90s) there was only english music in the charts. and the german musicians who were successful made crappy music.

everything's changed now.

they make good rockmusic.

i just think that it is VERY difficult to sing in german because the words aren't as soft as english words.

i listen to Amine or Hoba Hoba Spirit ; a rock band ! i think dat here the rock music isn't popular than hip hop or rap music !! but people here like all tastes of music ! i remember when i saw here Circus feat neneh cherry a swedish band ! the public loved so much them music ! :)

indonesian music sucks. many of them pretend to be british modern rock bands or something. all the popular ones are mainstream and cheesy. i prefer the indies. they're better.
