I just got an e-mail from my friend who's on vacation in Australia saying he saw Coldplay come into the hotel he's staying at =O I can't remember the name of the hotel...but all I know is I'm so jealous since he doesn't even like them.

 

He agreed to try and get some autographs for me if he sees them,though I doubt they're still there. Bah!

 

This probably isn't even a noteworthy topic,but I'm just so jealous :(

 

So I'll try and turn it into a decent topic: Had anyone had a close encounter with the band, or known anyone who has? :D

They're definitely not there anymore, they're already back in England, the tour is over, why should they still be in Australia? At least the Paltrow-Martin family has been seen in London the past days, so I doubt they're still there!

Jonny went to Hawaii with his girlfriend after the tour finished. He said in an interview. So can't have been him...

RE: Close encounters of the coldplay kind, my best friend met them in TO in 02. I was at the show, but we were in different sections so I didn't get backstage with her. She said Chris seemed 'a bit immature, emotionally'...lol. And that he was really surprised when she said she thought Coldplay could be the next U2!! My, how things change!!

The closest encounter my friends and I ever got to was after the Anaheim concert when we spotted Chris and Gwyneth getting into the SUV (in the underground garage "thing"), but we could only see the top of their heads. Drats, at least it was something I guess. :confused: :)
