Songs That Must Be Heard

Featured Replies

It would be great if we could have a new "Cool Songs You Should Hear" thread for "The World of Music". That thread is sorta dead now, and with the new advances in board technology you can now listen to songs without actually downloading them.

This should be more for music that isn't really popular. So don't go posting U2 or anything here, (Unless it is a less popular track).

Now let's see if I can get this baby to work.

Ocean - John Butler Trio

Probably like the best song ever.

I promise you won't ever hear anything any more emotional in an instrumental song for the rest of your life. All done with one 12-string guitar (including the percussion at the start). Doesn't get nearly enough appreciation as it should, and if you don't listen 'till the end you smell.

Keep this thing going!

And it would be nice as a sticky thread, winkwinknudgenudge.

Good idea but that link ain't working for me (the one to download the media player that is) :(

It doesn't seem to come up for me... and it gets ten times better, trust me.

Are the audio ones working?

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFlPeBsDug0"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFlPeBsDug0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I hope this works. I don't really understand the new feature but fingers crossed.

The song is Lydia by Fur Patrol. I'm not sure if anyone will know of them. I really like this song. It's kind of old but still cool.

You're using </param><embed src="
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> instead of
- the embed html won't work, you need to use the direct link :)
