well, mu "martins" came from spain.... the grandfathter of my mom's dad was spanisih....but his name was martines, i guess... :)

martinez? yeah is a very common surname here like garcia, lopez or rodriguez.

mine isn´t very common but my dad noticied that in a near city (los alcazares i think) they are very common but we are from valladolid. :)
