GUY & RICHARD

Featured Replies

yeah he is great. He was acting like a total weirdo at Isle of Wight tho! :0/

Great video of an amazing song, although I'm still disappointed of Richard Ashcroft. :veryangry:

it's joanna,i remember it by her clothes, F1 thing was the same day like the IOW and she wore that tunica and jeans.

but it´s so cool...I mean Guy and Richard seem to be really close friends...I remember seeing photos from a party in joanna´s new clothes shop(am I a right?) and there were several of the 2!:) so cool!:D

That's my favourite:

(it's the only one I could find on my website, the others are on my laptop which I'm not working on right now)

promo baby. money included.

I highly doubt that. It's not all about money in this business, they are friends and it's totally natural to show up at each other's parties! Of course there were photographers, but the photos of Richard and Guy were only taken outside and they partied inside and certainly had a great time, that's it! And Guy definitely didn't appear in Richard's video in return to get publicity or anything, they just support and like each other, that's all.

you think richard toured with them cus they're friends?

ashcrofts career was dead since verve broke up, and he's been a wreck since then, which needed a lift up and was seen as a god money machine, all this hanging around is in the contract, trust me. maybe they became friends, i'm not gonna deny that, but it was all for the money from the beginning, now..i don't know..i learned ppl do all sorts of things for the money to the extend you feel naive like no one in the whole wide world, sincerity is the thing that disapears the first when money hits in. ;)

but then again..they have a thing in common..too much booze..

I'm not saying he TOURED with them because they're friends, of course he did it for finally having success again, and it worked! He won lots of new fans during his tour with Coldplay and there's certainly nothing wrong with that!

But I personally think it's bullshit that he only showed up at Guy's party because of that! I think that the both of them became good friends during their tour, Guy seems to have more in common with Richard than with the other guys in the band, so he must have enjoyed the company! Not every journalist necessarily knows that Richard toured with Coldplay or thinks about that when he takes photos of them together at the Jezebell opening. God, who cared about that boutique opening anyway? I don't think that too many besides Coldplay fans took notice of it..

I might be naive, but I'd rather be naive than thinking that all musicians just hang out for publicity or money.

i'm not saying you're naive or anything, just that not everything is what it appears to be.

i'm not saying they're not friends, but you would be surprised what contracts celebrity's need to sign and what they include. for most of the time money is the wheel that's moving everything, why would they published THP for their single? EMI and similar company's are having a huge impact on everyday's buisness of musicians.

guy and richard are probably exeptional.i hope they are.
