But just like relegious catholics dont accept it, relegious jews dont either plus, gay ppl dont really flaunt that fact and start making out in the middle of the street, especially not in jerusalem. Maybe in tel aviv... and well, as much as it is accepted, parents will always deny it :/ she probably always imagined u meeting a guy, getting married, having kids- the "accepted way"... so parents will always try to push u the other way, i think but in the end she only wants u to be happy :)

There are many parades, and many homosexuals showing their pride (not in the 'making out in the middle of the street' kind of pride). It's pretty open here. However there's always the conservatives and the religious catholics, just like you said. It's just a matter of what kind of people that are around you. Like where I'm from, many people don't tolerate homosexuals. But in other places, they are open about everything. So...it's a pretty mixed subject...

I think the most gays have a particular characteristics, because first its hard to accept itself that they are gay, and then thes need much of courage to tell it someone, and it needs still more courage to tell it the parents and so they go through hard times, that shapes the character

I mean, if they think a person will go to hell because he/she is having sex with a person of the same gender, thats their problem they cant force their beliefs on others

August 28, 200619 yr I think that if you don't accept it you just have to move on, instead of hating them and stuff. If you're against it, keep it that way but don't do the gays harm in any form, that's wrong.
August 28, 200619 yr oh ok.... but wouldnt u know ahead of time llike... didnt u feel attarcted to girls, and really not atracted to men i know im not gay because ive never been atracted to another girl and i find men highly attractive so... u dont need to know gay ppl to question your own sexuality.. u can just feel unattracted to ppl of the opposite sex
