well anyone who lives in brisbane wil know what i am talking about but is you dont River fire is a massive festival in which we celebrate our river. with sometime like 80million worth of fireworks going off buliding, bridges, platoons and others all around brisbane for like the full stretch of the river and all to music. to kick of Riverfire for 2006 it was COLDPLAY the full song to awesome! with the dump and burn of the jets. its amazing to see how they accent the music with fire works going off. i would have gone in just to see the first part of the fireworks when they'd coldplay's talk! amazing even on tv.

wasn't that vestival that wanted to get to the guiness book cas of the most fireworks?

i saw the beginning on tv since i'm further north, but it still looked great. coldplay was perfect for the opening. last year's riverfire was great as well, it stuck in my mind. i didn't watch anything much beyond coldplay since the VMAs were on

:D I wish i could see it.. somehow somewhere..

I would have thought you would rather experience Tokio Hotel to fireworks!!:P

Well i'd rather seen Tokio Hotel flying away with fire works ;)

Yes - forever!!:P

i have no idea whether it was trying to muake the guinness book of records but i wouldnt be surprised because it goes for like 30 mins with 3 intervals of 2 mins or somthing like that. definately good though

it just occured to me that they used clocks last year as well didn't they? i'm not too sure whether they opened it, but i'm pretty positive it was played. :nice: what a coldplay-crazed country, love it!

oh my gosh did they! i was next to the story bridge but we didnt have the radio with us and we couldnt hear one at all! argh im bummed i missed it, its my favourite song ever!

well a coldplay track was definitely played. all i can remember was saying 'oh mum, this is coldplay' and althought i can't find anything official from riverfire '05, i'm positive it was clocks. not to worry, just imagine they played it last night lol the annual event usually go off the same way :nice:
