Anyone live in Leeds or Newcastle??

Featured Replies

Ok I need a bit of insight. I'm moving to either Leeds or Newcastle next summer but can't decide on which, so I need a little bit of help deciding from people who actually live there!

So please please tell me what's good and bad about living in either. Thanks :)

I live in Newcastle. Ask me any questions or PM me if ya want :D I've lived here all my life.

Reilly lives here like... 9 months a year or somethin.

Thanks everyone! Hey Jack :) Could you tell me what are the best places in Newcastle? Like I mean the most lively, easily accessable(good transport) and in a good area

Cheers :D

I was actually first looking to move to staffordshire or stoke on trent but I don't know now...

Well... The town centre is the place to be then. It has the football stadium in, the arena (for music gigs and basketball games), the shops, and is a 5 minute walk from the Quayside.

Theres a book out about the best things about the UK and a night out in Newcastle was number one. :P Reilly would know more about that scene, he's already mentioned on here about some of his nights out :P

Transport is good. Good compared to most other cities anyways. You can get buses from almost anywhere in Newcastle, and there's a metro system (like a small-scale underground) that also stretches to many places in Newcastle.

You might find quite a bit about it on a tourist website. They usually say in some detail what there is to do around here.

It depens where about in Newcastle you'd move. Cause there's some areas that are pretty rough and you wouldn't wanna live in.

Oh any particular reason why you are moving feef?

ask Stephen' date=' he went to Newcastle Uni when flares were in fashion[/quote']

Flares have always been in fashion there

:P

Newcastle rules!!! The people are nice and you can buy ukeleles really cheap too...:P
