I need some help with a song... Does anyone know the band that originally sang 'Shiver' - which was sung on Australian Idol last night (17/09/06)? It was quite popular on the radio around 1998 and possibly sung by Fuel (or any number of sound-alikes). It's a rock song - sounds a bit like Flood by Jars of Clay...

Some crap-o English band called Coldplay. Never quite made it. Shame. They were decent.

^ Just did some googling... After a bit of a search, I've found the song - It's actually Shimmer by Fuel. It was one of the songs on their first EP - Porcelin (released in 1996) and was "a small radio hit". It was later re-released on their first full-length album Sunburn.

 

Their most famous song, we all know is Haemorrhage (In My Hands) (Something Like Human, 2000) :D
