Audacity

Featured Replies

Does anybody know how to use audacity and take out the lyrics of a song. i wanna just have instrumental noise or maybe pick out one sound like only guitar or drums.

Would be almost impossible.

Actually, it's somewhat possible. It depends on the track.

What the official FAQ says to do is to split the track, invert the bottom half, and then set both tracks to mono.

That's the official FAQ. Beyond that, you're on your own. For the most part, it works, but for all/most of the tracks I've done this for, you can still hear the vocals faintly. IMO, it works better for louder tracks. :] Hope that helped.
