You could always make your own Coldplay DVD, set a release date, and sell it to yourself. That's my quick fix suggestion.

Where did you get this information from? Everything points to a late October 2006 release of a live Tour DVD. Since the ACC shows were taped (and there was huge publicity about it with people being given DVD cameras etc) there is a strong chance that these are the shows that will feature in the DVD. Must be the only explanation.

 

I get my information from the official website in which Debs Wild, the webmaster, told Coldplay fans about a month ago that there would be no DVD.

 

And PLUS, does no one else notice that these links that petra provided us with are not the ACC shows? One is from Toronto that WAS taped, but that show was back in June of 2005 as part as the promotional buzz tour for X&Y. It was at the Koolhous and was broadcasted on the Canadian music channel MuchMusic. Now they're releasing a DVD of it, but it is not the official DVD of the ACC shows from the band.

 

Do we get it now? It's ridiculous that I've had to explain this three times.

In holland there is 20th october a dvd, live in toronto don't know if it's the x&y show. But i suppose..

But I'll see on the 20th.. 6 days to wait.

We should complain to EMI for false advertising, there are probably tons of people pre-ordering absolutly nothing from the internet and HMV.

I truely dont believe for a second that they are not releasing the DVD, I think its one of those things were the guys say things that are not completely true, like how sometimes Chris says that "this may be our last album" and ect, I think they are just trying to hush us till Chrismas, or until they have edited their personal things out of it (family, ect)

On the internet, on a french website of a store, they said there was gonna be a dvd today but I went to that store and nothing.

That first link is from their buzz gig they did in Toronto back in June of '05 for the Canadian music channel MuchMusic. It's not the one they recorded.
