i am reading that they will buy studio for recording the new album!

Jeez. I don't see what's bad about X&Y. I love that album! it holds many good memories for me

X&Y is a good album, just doesn't quite hold up compared to the other two.

 

As for the new album, I think it'll be a little more solid, definitely. I just hope that it's out with a year and half or so, when The Killers have run their course with Sam's Town.

I think it's just a different album. Parachutes is rather organic and acoustic sounding. A Rush of Blood to the Head has more piano. X&Y is more electronic. They're just different and I think they're good in their own way. I try not to compare to other songs when it comes to Coldplay. I try to appreciate the song alone rather than have it live up to a repuation or what not.

Yeah seems ages away,but it will be very interesting when the new album comes out!!
