October 29, 200619 yr Chris Martin in a press conference says that the music of the album is worst in his words. But i just doesn't want to agree.I think their debut album Parachutes is great for decades.It has such a soft sounds and songs like 'sparks' which melts your hearts. I think chris was married and also he says that if else if he get married again he would keep it for some body to listen. But for the unmarried ones still the album is worth a listen.
October 29, 200619 yr OkayyyyyyyyyyĀ Ā Honestly, I don't care what Chris thinks/says now of the parachute album, it doesn't affect me one bit. I still enjoy listening to it and it still moves me so whatever he says about it now it's just pointless really. It's normal for him to feel is not their best work though..
October 29, 200619 yr I think parachutes is really terrific!!! I don't know why he said it, but I think he losted his mind ^^. But it doesn't matter, we like and I think he did parachutes for us!(the fans)

If he hated this album, some of Parachute' songs (Shiver/Yellow) wouldn't have been played in Live....Ā I guess it's normal for an artist to criticize his first work. He evolved, he tried new things, he has been inspired by something else. So, Chris, you shouldn't be so mean with yourself. What's done has been done. Believe your fans Chris! If we didn't like Parachute, we wouldn't like you anymore... Ā But we LOVE you!!!

When ever i feel lost i used to listen to the parachutes because it used to give me the kind of relief and pleasure to my mind so that i can get on. Because of that i am unable to bear his words about the album. that's it.very simple.

October 30, 200619 yr i think almost all singer i know has criticised his firsat work, it's a normal thing because during their carrer they improve their way of thinking and doing music. but it's not fair to say that Parachutes is a bad album, we all love listening Parchutes' songs!
