I'm thinking of some time in January, February or March maybe going somewhere on vacation lol. My most exotic ideas are about going to somewhere in the US like either New York, Las Vegas or Florida. I'll probably end up just being boring and going somewhere here in the UK lol, but out of those three above, tell me where I should go???

I've always wanted to go to New York for various reasons, NYC in particular. But also I was thinking Vegas could be cool what with all the gambling and I could go to the Grand Canyon. But also going to Florida could be sweet especially if I stayed at Disney World or something lol.

So where should I go!?????

I would definitely go to new york. vegas is probably great but gambling and the desert doesn't appeal to me personally. If you just want to shop and see some stuff go to new york but disney world would be awesome.. and the beach at florida would be too... if you knew what you wanted to do or see I would definitely go to new york

I haven't been to any of those places but I have been to DC and compared to other vacations more local and in california it was by far the best in my opinion. There are so many huge monuments and things to see, it's pretty awesome. The smithsonian was sooooooooooooooooo much fun to me, especially seeing the dinosaur bones.

If you do decide to go to Las Vegas, be ready to spend some cash:lol: If I were you, I would go to New York, but there's a lot of things to see in Florida too

yeah I like the idea of Florida because I'd really like to go to Universal Studio, and Sea World, and Disney World lol.

I hadn't thought about DC though, but now you mention it it sounds pretty cool. Luckily I work in a book store so I'll have to check out some travel books about DC today lol.

Pfft, all those big cities with their buildings, they're all the same no matter which one you go to.

Ghent .. that's the place to be. :smug: There ain't a town like Ghent and I'd kill myself if you don't enjoy Ghent.

i do like suburbs better than cities... i live in the middle of the woods :D

I'm like the opposite... I'm just so used to living and being in a large city. Everything's so fast paced but to me that's the way it's always been. I'm probably missing out on something, by not living elsewhere, somewhere more calming and relaxed and with better air......haha

I went camping in a pretty small town a few hours away from here last summer and although I did enjoy it, I didn't adjust too well :laugh3: I could manage, definately, but waking up and seeing fields and trees and grass instead of buildings and many cars was a big change.

SO, I'd say go to New York :P
