About being fit and on shape I would say maybe a little but it's not because of ads or because of the media but because I like to wear whatever I want to wear and I hate having to go to a store and finding something really cute, something I really like and cheap and then not being able to buy it because it either doesn't fit me or it just doesn't look right on me because I'm not fit.

The magazines are far worse because the photos are often fake or "altered". There is absolutely no reason for people to read those magazines - they serve no useful purpose whatsoever. If anything, they should be banned.;)
