Say yes more!

I said yes to Living in London

Now i have loads of friends, a fantasticlly well paid job, a gf, and having the time of my life.

And its all thanks to one word - YES

Yes has changed my life, before i used to say No alot - No i'm too tired, no ive got work tomorrow etc. I said no to my friends, family and more importantly i said no to myself.

The past few months has shown me the error of my ways, and now i say yes to everything (well nearly) and my life has never been better.

And tonight because of Yes, i got talking to the barmaid (after months of wanting to) and i met a real King!

Hmmm not sure..but I think it's because I am sick of being used by people!!!

I never said no when I was younger, and it led to me spending alot of time doing stuff for other people that wasn't productive for me or them. My life's gotten better now that I'm not afraid to say no once in a while.

But as I've gotten older, I've become willing to say yes to change, yes to new ideas. If you keep an open mind, life can get alot better...as it has for Neil.

Glad to hear it!!:D

Does he have a skirt as well as a crown :P

If you always say 'yes' one day you get owned :nice:

Thanks alot neil....A guy asked me if i wanted to buy some cocaine, so i thought of your thread and said yes. Turns out he was a under cover cop.

Amen!

I used to say "yes" a lot, "yes, you can see my homework" "yes, I'll help you study." But sometimes it feels REALLY good to say no! Honest!

For Example, this happens to me a lot:

"EhMaGod, Jenika! I didn't study for the test! Help! Tell me everything you know!"

"No! :cheesy: "

But No's negative! Its sad to see some people like saying No.

Think about the best things in life that has happened to you.

I bet it all started with a Yes!

Saying Yes made me move to London, made me meet loads of people, have fantastic nights out, lots of dates (alas no repeats), lots of stuff to go an see, i have a good job, lots of money, lots of friends.
