Chicago show [9 june 2003]

The concert was great. I had bad seats, but got to watch some of the concert from the entrance of one of the side aisles. That was a great view. Did they play less songs this time than the last concert they played at UIC? I thought he talked much less to the crowd yesterday too. It was still a great concert, I just wish I would have gotten better seats. How was the floor if anyone saw it from there? Wish they would have played Green Eyes.

Did anyone get to see any of the members after the concert? :o

wow someone else thought the same thing i did.... i was wondering why they were so damn fast, and i had realised on the way home that they didnt do all the fun chit chat that they did the last time i saw them all the way back in feb of 2001- was it cos they didnt have enough time or are they starting to lose touch with the crowds? it did seem like they played fewer songs too :(

what did ya think about the other acts? eisley was pretty good, but ron sexsmith was so charming and those tunes were awesome, i had to pick up the cd

i was in the balcony and they looked fabulous, and i must say that the gods were smiling on me cos they played the 2 songs i wanted them to sing right at the start (god put a smile on yer face and daylight) and that moses song is good too.... it sounds like a new one to me :D

i wish i could've had a peek at them as they were heading out... there were trucks and a couple buses in the parking lot next to the building but they were packed so tight ya couldnt see much. my friend and i tried to wait fer a bit to see if anyone would come out but it was late, and i had school the next morning :P

hey guys, i was in the front row. eisley was great, so was ron. i guess with two opening acts, coldplay didn't have to play as much.

it was a little disconcerting that chris didn't talk much, and wasn't his normal happy self. but everyone has bad days. the guys looked tired, and while amsterdam was playing, the guys were smoking ciggies and drinking beer. they have had awhile on vacation, maybe they haven't gotten back into the swing.

i have to admit it was a good show, but the shows in sept at uic and the jan show in charlotte were superior to this one. but of course, coldplay are only human (although we all like to think of them as our music superheroes.) til next time...

-enid ---keep supporting the band---

the concert curfew was the downtown limit which is 11. The reason they played so darn fast was because they came on so late. After Ron played it took like 30 mins, they must have been late, screwing around. Eisley was amazing. Does anybody know how we can get a set list for this show or others.

About Green Eyes , some retard in the Chicago Sun times, says the crowd went crazy and sang along to the song from a rush of cold blood (Green Eyes). What the helll are they talking about. this was never played which bummed all the true fans

OH! I was there too! hehe enjoyed it
