I hope you're kidding

But it actually crossed my mind that you taped the whole thing since you are talking about taping ykw's night actions

Oh yes my first 2007 song is CLOCKS!!! :D

It was my first 2008 song too! :D

It's gonna be tradition now. The first song of the year is always going to be Clocks. :) It is sentimental to me...so yeah.

I hope you're kidding

Oh yesh, i could play anything you want and then some back stage action

awwwww that sounds like the perfect nye to me.....erm would you play "like a rolling stone" by Bob Dylan...for me?I'm not really a Dylan fan but I so fell in love with this song....it brings back some memories and stuff....awwwwww...

I want someone to play it for me....:bigcry:

Oh God, I forgot this tradition this year. But I think that the first song I heard was something by Prodigy.

Hmmm not really sure...

Hm...the first song I probably heard was either 'Take A Bow' or something by Radiohead...I think the first song I heard this year would have had to be "No Suprises" because towards the end of the year I was getting this craving to listen to the song...

^haha.

The first time I listened to them in '08 was this morning!

I listened to Feist... hoping some of her talent rubs off on me this year. :nice:

And I needed something nice and soothing because nothing sucks more than having the flu on new years... :sick2:

^My throat is sore, and my back is reallly hurting. I hope I'm not getting sick.

Bummer - the flu is no fun at all!! (I like your advice - we'll sit back; have a cup of tea; and wait for all this to blow over..):)

I'm not familiar with Feist.. I do like mellow music at night - will give them a listen..;)

Hmm.. first song in 2007? Gadzooks! Memory only goes back two weeks! I was in a coma then.. Let's see. Hmm.. maybe I was listening to Eastern Energy. First thing in 2008 - probably "For You" by Coldplay; or possibly "Moses"..:)

Hate to say it, but that's how whatever it is I have started. :\ I think I got it from my niece and nephew... but it's going around everywhere. Take care of yourself.

Doctor Who meets Shawn of the Dead. :nice: I love geek mashups. Though he's not supposed to be sitting back and having tea, he's supposed to be saving the world!

You so should give her a listen. She's wonderful. Part of the Broken Social Scene crowd, and she was born in my dad's hometown to boot! :)

 Yeah, I kind of don't want to go to sleep, because I know its usually a bad night's sleep when you are just starting to get sick.

Last time that happened I had just boughten a Rage Against the Machine cd, and had horrible nightmares with that as the soundtrack all night.

^ You forgot Mushaboom!

Yeah, I still haven't bought the cd that songs on, is it any good?

And also do you know if Bee Hives by BSS is any good?

Sleep is really important though, if you're getting sick... might even keep it away. Those sound like nasty nightmares...

Um, Let it Die is a little different... I sort of prefer The Remider, actually. But it's still really, really good.

Haven't heard that BSS one yet.

Thanks Erin - Hmm.. Doctor Who meets Shawn of the Dead?:laugh3: That's funny - instead of saving the world - we'll sit back, have a cup of tea, and wait for this whole thing to blow over! (I have to say - there's a little of all of us in that kind of thinking!:P)

Feist sounds nice! Thanks for the clip Briggins!!
