Awww, that's great to hear (or read, dunno :P) that you spent a great mother's day, Nadia! It's always good to improve our relationship with our families...I wish I was closer to my cousins as I don't have many opportunities to talk to them... :\

And congrats for the grade!

Thankyou! :D and I hope that you get to become closer to your cousins!

I went into the city today all by myself. I'm quite proud of myself for becoming more independant. I don't need someone with me to go places anymore. I still lean on people when I need to though, because it's nice to have people that are there for you, and I don't want to act like I don't need those people because I truly do.

I bought my friend a birthday present while I was there. She's so hard to buy for because her sisters buy her a lot of things. I spent more than I wanted to so she'd better like it or I won't be at all happy. I should have gone to somewhere cheaper but I had it in my head that I wanted to get her something from the Oxfam shop (I just wanted to go there because I hadn't been before and I was using my friend's present as an excuse) and it just turned out more expensive than I expected. If she was a closer friend and I wasn't so worried about my cash flow than I wouldn't mind so much. Oh well... it's her 18th and I've known her since we were 5 so I may as well spend a bit more than usual on her.

:surprised:

My school is coming to an end. This is a transition period so...nothing of great importance happened.

Actually, the only thing that happened today was me skipping history class :P

( how amusing)

I'm done with bio and chemistry!

Tomorrow history.

That's the way it is, Mike!Keep being positive and things will be more enjoyable... :)

Week of exams, Miro? Ohhh, mine are always so ''me-locked-in-the-the-room-woth-no-contact''! I haaate it!But yours might be different...It's just that I'm too paranoic about studies... :surprised:

Today was a pretty nice day I guess...At school we're making making a project based in a very interesting book...All the students are involved with it and it's great because every day someone gets to the class with great ideas...Today I was able to sleep in the afternoon (that's amazing for me :P ) and I got relaxed to do the homework...

I got a lovely message on msn and had reat laughs with a friend of mine over there too...

Relaxing? :wink3:

Nice :)

As far as the Croatian school-system goes, these exams could be interpreted as "the finals". But the truth is we continuously have oral & written exams - during the whole year. As these are happening in the end, they are what they are.

Pretty tough, if you ask me.

Well, anyways - today was the D day.

History.

*drums*

4/5 :)

Once again, I'll make the days better:p

So, today, I went to a city near mine called Grenoble (if you're interested in some info about it and in knowing where it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenoble )

With my mum, I hate in a nice restaurant, downtown. It wasn't that expensive, although it was located in the downtown (it's usually expensive... ) and the waiter/waitress were very kind.

There I took part in a briefing where they explained us that we could test meds. But since I'm allergic to some meds, I'll test only... FOOOD... :wideeyed::smash::wiseguy:

I bought 3 Radiohead cds: Pablo Honey, My Iron Lung and Ok Computer.

I bought another one for a friend of mine, as a birthday gift... Kid A.

I'm so damn happy, although it seems to be nothing... but it was damn fine!

^^Oh that was a great day then..3 radiohead cd's! :D

I skipped school today...:uhoh:

I had a presentation, but i didnt do anything about it..so i decided to skip school.

Next week im not at school either, because im going to pinkpop

So i went shopping with a friend :)

Sounds like a nice day for you too!

Yeah, 3 radiohead cds. My collection's complete. Two times I went to the music store, and I bought them!

( Thank you, Eglantine for making me discovering them! )

Now I need a bigger MP3. I'll surely buy a 30Go iPod.

Hm, today hasn't started yet.

Mike came yesterday and we had fun searching for an exchange office that was still open. :D

And he seems more nice in flesh.

Today I'm thinking of taking him to the sea.

nothing happened today except work..

Yesterday was wonderful.

Me and Mike went to Primošten and Šibenik.

I am tired...but saisfied. Since I will leave this place for college. So this is some kind of mine farewell to Dalmatia.

Anyways, today I'll show him around Split :)

Today was okay.

Kinda sad, to be frank.

Me and Mick went to the mountain Mosor - it was very nice; the wind was blowing, clouds floated in the sky and breath-taking view.

Also we've been to the fortress Klis. Again, clouds, wind, view.

He's leaving tomorrow.

ummm another day another dollar!~!

My mum and my younger sister went to Beijing this morning. They probably got there about an hour ago. They'll come back on Saturday. My sister won the trip through a competition... It's the first time Mum's ever left Australia before so it's exiting for her.

One of my older sisters came back yesterday after two weeks overseas - she went to Dubai, Paris and Spain.

All this travelling everyone is doing makes me want to travel even more!

Today I was on the train back from Uni and this guy sat across from me... I was looking out the window and continued to do so... Then when I decided to look at him briefly - well, I didn't have good timing. When I glanced at him, he scratched his, um, man bits. He only scratched them for a very short instant but it still wasn't the most pleasant thing to see.

^_^ boring day for me....I'm meant to be tidying up the house because my friend is coming down and she's posh  i think my parents like to pretend they're posh and live in a clean house when she comes down. Sooo, I just decided to come on here to see if there's anything new.....nothing so far........................................think I'll update my myspace a bit :D

Mike left. We spent a rather calm day.

It feels empty now.

I miss him.

I will try my best in the university that I haven't started yet.

I don't want to lose the competition against my high school classmates.

I've been having a really boring day so far.

I woke up at 6:30 for practice, came home at about 9:15, watched Hip Hop Harry at 10:00, and then fell asleep at 10:30 and was out until about 1:30 PM. Then I went to go cash MY check for $50 so that my dad could buy us food.

But today's going pretty good, nobody's died.

I think I'm doing something to make my life better by playing a sport in high school.

good for you ^ :nice: i had heaps of fun playing sports back in high school. it's a great chance to socialise on a totally casual level.

....

ah where to begin? no idea so i will simply say i am one happy lady who feels really pleased with how everything is going right now and who can't get editors' the weight of the world out of my head :D :D :D

SO HAPPY!

^awh:)

About the songs stuck in my head, last week, I had Umbrella (:stunned: but :nice: :p), then, Side, Last train and Moses. Extremely...... good.

I've spent 9 lovely days in Croatia. I'm so happy, I could never forget any of the things we've been up to. (thanks Miro for being such a good guide.)

And I'm also not so fine. I guess it's the "I-get-depressed-after-my-holidays" time. Life seems to be so much better there (The grass is always greener on the other side? Maybe. But I can tell you it was!)

So, it's obvious I didn't really want to be back in France.

I dunno why, when you're happy, something comes to spoil your happiness. I guess that it's not my time yet. I have to wait. But I hardly can.

I suppose that all good things come to an end... but that they can start again:p

So, I'm hopeful.

Oh, believe me when I say that they indeed will start again .

And...you're going to the US soon!

So you've got something to look forward.

Yes, I go to the US. But I already know, even if I'm gonna have fun, it'll not be the same at all.
