Live v recorded

Featured Replies

Are there any singers or bands you would go and see live, but whose recorded material you wouldn't usually listen to?

Recent examples in my case are: Amy Winehouse, Paul Weller and The Zutons.

Having seen them all perform "live" on TV recently, I would consider going to see all three of them, but I'm not really interested in any of their albums.

ummm

if i dont like there albums i wouldnt see them live

neither would I

Grinspoon...

They performed here once for free at the park so I went along even though I hate them.

No I would not really do that.....there would be no point seeing someone if I did not know their music.....

BTW...the above post by mark reminds me of someone else...impersonating someone?:P

Impersonating a clueless noob who doesnt know what forum topics should go in?

He-yeah, heh, yeah, heh heh, ...I think so.

 :o That was :mean:

Naaah its ok, I know Mark and Mark knows me and Mark knows that I'm only being completely serious. Thats why its ok.

yes, i do. robbie williams' a bit like that. i dont really listen to him when i'm at home (well i did like his older stuff but i havent listened to him for ages). but i'd go to a concert because i like him as an entertainer and i think he's a lot better live.

why wouldnt you listen to the zutons? i really like them, espeacially their second album. i'd love to see them in concert, they had a concert in liverpool when i lived there but i found out too late.:(

I only really liked their debut single, but they look like a fun band to watch...........................

Robbie's a pretty good example, actually, as he's an entertainer first and foremost.

which one was that?

i didnt know them at the time, i found out about them when i was in liverpool.

i do have both albums though.

seeing Girls Aloud live would definitely be enjoyable, i'm not sure about their record, though...

Seeing them "soundless" might be the better option, then!
