Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE motivates himself to go onstage and perform in concert by listening to the British band COLDPLAY.

 

The MY LOVE singer is getting ready to tour again to promote his latest album and says he has specific pre-show rituals he likes to follow. He explains, "I still get excited to go on stage. I stretch so I don't hurt myself. "I had a rule on my last tour that I couldn't go until I heard the song CLOCKS by Coldplay.

 

"You know the house music they play before the artist goes on stage? "It turned into a superstition because after I heard that song I felt like it would be a good show, so we could go on!"

Has anyone seen him 'play the piano' when he performs? I think he likes Coldplay a little too much. He's so into what he's playing...only you can't hear it. teehee

Yes you're probably right there. Then again if he listened to Politik before going on stage, he would get far too hyped up for his own good. Not to mention the crazy lets-ride-the-stool thing that Chris Martin does when he plays it live!

Anyway, i dont reli like his recent music so listening to a bit of coldplay here and there has got to be a good thing.

Someone on here went to his concert and said he's ridin the stool too... or should I say he's trying to ride that stool.

I'm not surprised. In one of his songs (I think it was "LoveStoned" or some interlude to another song), the music cuts to a guitar playing chords so similar to Coldplay's style (and it sounded nice too, I think).

 

And didn't JT say Coldplay was "the best band ever" or something? I know I read that somewhere (bleh can't remember the source >.<" )
