I'm sure you didn't, because British channels don't broadcast any handball games. :P Therefore you can't call it "boring". Far from it! It's one of the most exciting games ever... Well back to the topic... Today is a day-off, but Germany meets France tomorrow and I'm very excited about it. France is my insider tip to win this competition. Can't decide whether to watch Bundesliga or handball tomorrow! :D

January 27, 200719 yr Brilliant game! One of the best in this tournament so far... The last 5 minutes were so exciting! France scored more and more goals, but Henning Fritz was incredible! Can't understand why he's not Kiel's first goalkeeper.

If handball was as big as football worldwide, Iceland would have no chance of winning a world championship, as it simply wouldn't be possible to produce enough world-class players from such a small population. The Iceland football team is a prime example. There have been some excellent players (such as Gudjonssen) over the years, but there simply aren't enough players of his quality for the team to make a significant impact. It's a mathematical fact.;)
