As we know, no new material has been played in the first 2 concerts.

 

Do you think we will hear any new songs by the end of their Latin American Tour?

i think they will, at one show atleast just so it doesn't seem that they lied or knowingly led their fans on. honestly, if i were attending one of the latin american cp concerts, countries coldplay have never toured before, i'd be way more focused on that itself rather than the new songs.

 

the band will release songs when they feel ready, and if they don't feel their material is up to the live performance standard, i respect their decision to hold off, as long as they make mention at the show and not ignore the announcement that most fans recieved.

I don't think the band or EMI or anyone ever said they would, just journalists. It doesn't really matter to me if they don't - listening to an entire LP of stuff you've never heard before is just as good as hearing the new songs early.

I think they will if they feel ready. But Chris did say he didn't want to get too excited about new material, so that might have been a hint.

I dont think that they will, it takes a long time to work out a tune. maybe the last gig of the tour they'll pop something quickly to keep us hanging

I will tell you in 2 weeks :D yeahhhh, but I'm not sure, I guess I'd preffer listening as many of the songs I already know as I can haha, but I wouldn't complain if they play new songs
