Chile, I might say I hate my country and its bored but life here is quiet, calm and we is mainly a conservative country ( the opposite of liberal) so I guess that has had an influence on me. What abou you-again?

I say I'm more liberal than anything else. With some views I'm conservative. But I think alot of what you might believe comes from your enviroment. In my case though its kinda opposite. I grew up in a very devout Catholic home and went to Catholic schools, but I don't believe in what I was taught, necessarily. :shrug:

but i think chile is still much more liberal than iran etc...

Dio you always go to the xtremes! Of course is more liberal than that because there you dont know what freedom or liberty is, instead here you have a certain parametre called "freedom" or "liberalism" but still we have a lot of religious influence. Mine is not by that side, I dont believe or I agree with no having a dirvorce law but not because of a church thing, just because I dont think is right. Ask your mom, Chile is like Mexico 20 years ago or more......

No Chile is like 10 years back than Argentina and like 20 years back than Mexico ............ since Pinochet left the dictator throne he had we've been stuck, or moving very slowly and the church has been very close to the country politics and all that......

I think is because I dont like democracy or dont believe in it really....... I prefair to say somenthing and doit and thats mainly what Pinochet and all dictators do...... I really dont like the goverment right now and I would prefair a siste like the old one, but all the humans rights were violated so it wont happend again!

No, I mean you now abuut Spain and Franco, right? Well Franco was a dictator and when he died like all Spanish went crazy and start to do evrything that was prohibited but instead here everything it was prohibited remains like that, there have been just small changes since 1990 ( the year Pinochet left the power)

Kind of, but is not like I dont like the idea of democracy.... is just so uneless, uneusefull ......... But I wouldnt like to live in a regime like Cuba, or with a tirano like Hussein, but I still think that totalitariam system are quite better than a democratic one
