On March 26th, Coldplay will release 'The Singles 1999-2006', a boxset containing all 15 of the band's Parlophone singles on 7-inch vinyl.

yay! i preordered mine last night! i cant WAIT for it to get here. im surprised at the price, 94.99 USD, which is pretty damn good for thirteen discs. and i love that theyre releasing them on vinyl. it shows theyre not afraid to do their own thing and get a little funky and not play everything up for commerical economics.

so excited!

vinyl is soooo much cooler than any other music medium. i love that they released all three albums on vinyl, and now all the singles. i feel so...uniquely retro owning them all.

 

you get can moderately decent record players for around $40 USD. i got a portable one last year for around that much.

must find $130 somewhere.... GAH!!!!!!!!!

I thought about getting the messanger bag... it looks nice. But then it occured to me: it's made out of white cotton. I am a klutz. There would be grape juice stains or grass stains or something horrible all over it within about 5 minutes of it coming out of the box. :laugh3:
