Can anyone explain what Without Parachutes is/was?

 

All I know is it's a bootleg or something with various acoustic/live tracks on it.

I could only guess that it was issued free/sold at gig promoting parachutes, if people liked the acoustic sets then there's more chance of buying the full album.

I'm pretty sure that it's just a cd of b-sides that someone made, and it started to circulate

yeah i dont think it was ever anything official........

 

either a compilation somebody made of b-sides, or maybe even somebody passing their music off as coldplay's, which tends to happen from time to time.
