writing licks for the first time!

Featured Replies

i need your help!

some of you might have seen my thread in here before, but now it's something different. i've played guitar for about four or five months now, and my guitar teacher wants me to write my very own licks..

and i tried..

i couldn't think of a single thing.

any advice?

Don't think in a too difficult way :)

Just grab when it's night your guitar, play for example an E chord, and try something with it.

Don't think about it, just do.

Don't think this is too less, this is worse etc.

Just be happy, it's the first time, so you can grow.

Your teacher can give you tips etc :)

You will learn !

Don't think you're inmediately jimi hendrix, he wasn't also that good he now is in the beginning ! :D
