I don't know, maybe next Coldplay tour we could pick a concert and all try to go to it, and maybe have a bash before hand. I know @U2 (a U2 fansite) have done a couple get togethers before U2 gigs to raise money for the African Well Foundation. We could possibly do that for the CCC.

It would have to be a festival type thing because it would impossible for everyone to get tickets near each other, but fests are always GA.....Glasto anyone, they're being rumored to play? :D

I first met Mary (Breakfast_of_CHAMPION) on the old CP official forum sometime around early 2002. We talked all the time and after AROBTTH was released and the band started touring we, along with several other people on the forum decided to all meet up for a show. We chose Cleveland because we could still get tickets and it was a GA show, so we didn't have to worry about getting seats together. I came from Texas, Mary and Lulu from Indiana, Brit and one of her friends from Ohio, Abbey from Arizonia, Todd from Vegas, and Leah from New Jersey. We all met up and had grand old time. My mum was sure I would be killed by internet stalkers. LMFAO Since then Mary and I have traveled to more shows together.

 

I will be in the UK later this year and will be signing autographs at The Reef in Victoria Station, please feel free to come by. :D

LOL. Sorry about that Mandy. I felt so bad but I got ride with my dumb roommate and she didn't believe me that the traffic was going to be terrible so I missed Fiona and was freaking out! But I know we will meet sometime this summer for sure. .

 

We probably will, at a show. If I ever head up to State to party or something with friends, I will wear my Coldplay shirts the whole weekend!!

I've nearly met Mandy.

I've met someone named David from the official board, I think he's a member here too, just not sure of his username. We lived near each other and he won a meet and greet for the concert on August 30th so I met up with him before the concert and was nice enough to get my CD signed by Jonny.

 

I saw him there too, we were in the same vicinity, and never knew it. shucks.:sad:

Soon we'll be able to order coldplaying/ccc tees so we can spot each other at shows!:D

Years ago I was part of another forum that actually arranged a meet-up in a semi central location.....some of them hit it off so well, they later got married (no joke!). Anyway, we definitely could do it....maybe 5-10 years from now, when the average age of the longtime members is a little older, and everyone can travel on their own without parents in tow. :P

I am seriously trying to figure out how to pull off a release party. You'd have to get musicians from 5 countries to one spot, and everyone else would have to get themselves there. You'd probably need funding etc. If I win that lottery...

oh btw....I met *Sarah* at the Coldplay concert in Oberhausen...and before I was a member of this board I went to the same concert as Mark did.....we didn't meet there but I think we were standing relatively close to each other...
