They don't seem to have as much pressure on them as in previous years so that could be a good thing.

^My thoughts exactly. Experience seems to beat out youth in the case of these 2 teams, at least if game 1 was any indication.

Pens up 1-0....looks like it will be a close game.

THat penalty to Kellly was BULLS**T!

EDIT: But Philips just got away with murder, so I'm gonna quit bitching now, lol.

Yeah I'm a little suprised that the Isles won. I just did a hockey pool at my place with a bunch of friends. And I ended up picking 5 Dallas players. :\

This was NOT my day for hockey. Nothing worked out liked I hoped...well, at least Jamie LankyBugger scored a goal, so I have another point in my pool.

Haha who did you pick in your pool?

Next year we should do a coldplaying pool of some sort.

The poll I'm in lets you pick 10 players, including 2 goalies. I don't remember tham all off-hand, but...

Danny Heatly

Chris Chelios

Jamie Lagenbrunner...er...Lankybugger,lol.

Chris Pronger

Martin Brodeur

Kipper

Jerome Iginla

That's all I remember, atm. I'll post it next time I check where I am in the standings...which won't be verry high after today, lol.

I'm kind of a pool junkie. Would people be interested in a regular season pool too possibly? Yahoo has a great service. And best of all it is free.

The Rangers got off to a nice 2-0 series lead. Man Avery's first goal was weeeeeeeaaaaaak

Hah yeah, but Hedburg should have never gone for the puck if it was sent around on the glass. Same thing happened to Miller against...Montreal, I think it was.

Oh my beloved Habs. I wish they were playing Buffalo. That would be a series for the ages.

yeah avery's goal was lucky, the rangers played like crap. but they pulled through somehow.

Boooooooo Calgary lost again today. Only 15 shots, thats pathetic. And then all those dumb penalties they took. They have no chance if they keep playing undisciplined like that.

Calgary is just playing horribley right now. Even when they seemed like they were somewhat competing in the 2nd, they only got 3 shots off.

Calgary's dissappointing so far. I expected better from them.

At least Ottawa's pulled their socks up. Crosby just got his obligatory 3rd period goal, but it's still over.

Alfredson was a good 5th round pick for me. :P

I was hoping Minnesota would be a more productive dark horse, but alas, they are but one game from elimination now. =[

I thought that series would go longer. I like both teams alot, but I'm going for the Ducks because of Giguere. Gotta go for the ex-Mooseheads.

1:14 am and another overtime. I don't know if I can stay awake.
