Oh my god! Vancouver you stupid freaking hockey team! Looked like they did not want to win at all tonight! And the stupid refs helped that too. Terrible reffing tonight and the Canucks are just !!! Ahh! I hate this, they don't enjoy winning, I think. And stupid Dallas with their cheap shots and whatnot. Defensemen gets knocked out and is lying on the ice for several seconds but no whistle goes but when Morrow is limping they magicially blow the whistle right away and hand out a misconduct to a Canuck! Although he did deserve the penalty... If they keep on playing like this they're going to pull another 02-03. :bigcry:

Yeah they looked about as hungry for a win as I am after eating Christmas dinner. Earth to Nucks! You have to score to win hockey games! Luongo can only do so much.

I know! Haven't scored a goal in 2 games now. They seem so lifeless. They put zero pressure on them when they are in their zone but as soon as Canucks enter Dallas zone they lose it in a second. Sedins are being shut down and no one else is stepping in to fill that gap.

Yeah, after the Sedins they have sort of been lacking all season.

Yeah, true. Lets hope they get their head into the game and rally back, score a goal or two and you know, actually win.

Eastern Conference Semifinals

1. Buffalo vs. 6. NY Rangers

2. New Jersey Devils vs. 4. Ottawa Senators

Damn Briggins, you called it. haha wow

Every time Ottawa plays Jersey, they choke. Let's hope the curse is broken this year!

:P

Now we'll see how the unpredictable Wild West goes. I have a feeling the Flames aren't going to make it past Detroit.

And well Vancouver have looked rather horrible the last few games.

As for Ottawa having a solid goalie in Ray Emery could be the difference this year. This is the first year they've had solid goaltending. Based on what I saw in round one I would say Ottawa is the best team. I didn't see much of Buffalo or New York, but Buffalo did have a few moments of worry.

LOL! I NEVER thought I'd see the day when Canada's hopes for the Cup rested with Oddy-Wah!!:laugh3: It would please me no end if they can do it...and Emery's looking really good this year, better than I expected to be honest.

Calgary and the Nucks are still in there! Don't give up on them yet! But it isn't looking too promising.

What did you guys think of the late-game antics versus the Wings by McLennan and Iginla?

^made me cry...and laugh too,lol.

I'm not giving up on the Western teams, it's just amusing that Ottawa might be our best hope. I have alot of pissed off leafer friends atm, but I'm just fine with it.

hahaha yeah, you sound like a turncoat to me!

Phew, glad they killed of that penalty. Man, Kiprusoff is just....wow.

Man its the Kipper vs. Wings show tonight.

Its starting to get late here.

  • Author

I'm not too surprised they lost, I'm just surprised they held on for so long. Kipper was outstanding all playoffs, just the rest of the team didn't generate enough offense.

Well so far I'm 7 for 7 for series predictions. We'll see what happens in the big game 7 tomorrow.

YARG!!!!!!! I had hoped they'd force a game 7, but then it would have been even harder to watch if they'd lost. We'll see how tonight goes, but my hopes are with Ottawa, like I said yesterday. I doubt they'll pull through because Brodeur is simply the better goalie. But you never know. I wish Ottawa still had a couple of their brick-house players like Charra (sp?) If they want to move on, it's going to have to be REALLY offensive hockey.

:P :P :P :P :P VAncouver's gearing up for golf season quite nicely. Do they even want the cup?

EDIT: ok. I take it back. They decided to play some hockey mid-way through the 2nd priod, lol.
