Looks like it was a smart thing benching Maxim Afina-where-had-you-gone-ov. Its great when a player responds to a benching in such a positive way. Saku Koivu did it with the Habs this season, came back and scored 2 goals the next game. And then there are assholes like Samsonov who go and whine and cry and just go even further back in the coaches doghouse.
