Gwyneth Paltrow and family move to London

LONDON, May 6 (UPI) -- Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, British rock star Chris Martin, have reportedly decided to set up fulltime residence in London.

The power couple recently purchased the house next door to the home they already had in London's Belsize Park, The Mail on Sunday reported.

Paltrow and Martin, the frontman for Coldplay, said that they want their children, Moses, 1, and Apple, 3, to be educated in Britain.

"Gwyneth and Chris have just sold their townhouse in New York's trendy TriBeCa area because they want to be in London full-time," a source in New York told The Mail. "They bought the house next to their London pad so they can have more space and plan to put their children through British schools. Gwyneth is particularly impressed with the English education system."

Paltrow and Martin won't have any trouble paying school fees, they reportedly made almost $6 million in profit from selling their New York home.

nice :)

it's funny cos the last thing i heard was that gwyneth didn't wanna be in london or something cos it made her feel depressed...looks like chris won that one lol.

NOOOOOOOO

agh, this makes me sad. i live ~1 hr away from NYC and go there all the time. its just kinda sad to know that he'll no longer be in my 'hood and theres no longer a possiblility of seeing him on the sidewalk or walking past his house and being like "chris lives there...*squee*" or him going to the restaurant my friends grandma runs and famous people (bono, paul mccartney, etc) go to a lot. sigh sigh sigh.

i completely understand the choice, though. i really actually hate NYC and would KILL to live in london. im happy for them! im just missing them already, even though ive never seen them outside of a concert hall.

im psychotic.

wow, thats cool. I always imagined her to want to raise children in NYC, but maybe the area where they lived wasn't exactly the scene she wanted her children to be around. plus, she's always going on about how much she loves england etc... not to mention that's where the band records and gears up, it makes sense.

well looks like they kids will have English accents then:thinking:

cuutee! i can already imagine how cute the kids will sound w/ their lil accents

ive never seen them when i wasnt expecting to, no, but my mom has. its just sad that now the possibility of hever seeing them unexpectedly has gone way down because they no longer live there.

i was in NYC last night thinking "oh, if they only still lived here, they might be walking three streets away from me or something..."
