Graduation time...

Featured Replies

I know a few of you are graduating this year so maybe you can relate...

Yesterday was my last day of High School, and I was so excited for all those years for the day to finally come. Well today I can't help but feel melancholy and regretful for wanting it to end so fast and so bad. I watched the Senior video today about 3 times, and its really not even that interesting.:laugh4:

I haven't felt this way before and its seriously pissing me off, I should feel happy and excited to be moving on and going to college, but instead I feel anxiety and overwhelmed with pressure...

So past graduates ... Is this normal, because all my past friends that graduated said they were excited and it was the happiest time in there lives...

I would say anxiety and overwhelmed by pressure is normal since you don't really know exactly where in life you are headed.

The advice I would give is just relax; enjoy grad, prom, and just hanging out with your friends since some of them you will never see again.

:scholar: I am gonna be a senior next year, so I only have one year left of high school. It's gone by so fast I cant believe it.

Aww this scares me!! I don't want to be overwhelmed with sadness! :(

Oh well, I still have time. :P

(to post above): Dude, you're from Philly?? Schweet! :) So am I!

I live in the outskirts. ;)

haha o so you really dont live in philly then?

Umm...it's weird, but I haven't felt that way. My school days are over, too...and yet I miss no one.

Is it strange, I don't know. But it's as it is. Maybe I will miss them once this fuzz about college clears...I dunno.

i don't miss my school"mates". because we never got along pretty well, so there's no need about being sad because the school ended.

I was not happy as well when I've graduated in March....I thought I'm going to miss school and the people there so much....but that did not really happen...I rather miss the routine...BUT on friday I met some people of my "class"....and we got along so well although I did not really have to do much with those people in school...that made me a bit sad again because I realised that those people are cooler than I thought hehe...but now it's too late I guess.....anyways I'm really looking forward to my time at uni...:D

I never "graduated" :stunned:

I guess the people in the U.K. don't make as large of a fuss as people in America do.

Well, I haven't graduated yet either, but I probably will these days :D oh ok, in July.

I never went to the college's own little "graduation" celebration thing, I was working.

haha o so you really dont live in philly then?

I do...but it's not considered 'philly' philly...:P
