In spite of the public perception, they actually all work on and get credit for the songwriting, and Will is the leader in some ways, Chris just happens to be the one who doesn't mind babbling in public.

 

Yeah, I heard of another guy named Chris Martin recently, forget where, though. 'Chris' and 'Martin' aren't exactly uncommon names, so it's going to happen.
