Awwww, the memories! :nice: I used to watch it everytime on RTL2 when I came from school at 1pm! Nearly as good as "The Kickers"... :D

I really like that cartoon,it was great and I watched almost all the versions of the show,they have like 3 or 4,I do not remember.

 

One funny thing is that they play in "endless fields" and with the flashbacks the characters had every game it seems like the games would never end

Anyway, I loved that serie:)

 

In France, it was called "Olive et Tom"... Nothing to do with the original title...

One of my friends is a great fan of all those 80's mangas...

In Germany it was called "Die tollen Fußballstars" (engl. the amazing football stars) and yeah they needed 30 minutes to ran over the pitch from one goal to another! :D

This cartoon was responsible for the fact that I knew about the run of the bastille in France before I learnt that at school! :D
