I know they released the "Speed Of Sound" single on the radio about a month before the album came out..... so when is the earliest we will hear the single ? I think September would be great... perhaps we will just have to wait and see....... (they could still have a long way to go with the new album..)

Jan-Feb....do we know much about the actual release date/month of the album?...I thought i heard April....which would make the 1st single release more like..late Feb-March wouldnt it?

If I were Coldplay I wouldn't release anything at the same time as Radiohead.

Why not? We've already seen worldwide sales figures of recent previous albums and singles favour Coldplay ;)

Looks like we might have to wait until the new year for a new single but I'm really hoping we at least get news of a single before the end of the year and hearing it before then would be brilliant :)
