under which conditions would you...

KILL

because someone is trying to kill you??

because someone is annoying the crap out of you???

because you need to save someone???

etc

I'd kill in self defense, and if someone is going to kill someone else I care a lot about.

only if I was trying to save someone and I had no way of simply knocking that person out with some sort of club. if I was trying to save myself it would have to be a situation where i couldn't run away. that's my theory but i don't know if I could actually kill someone, nor do I know that I wouldn't kill someone if the circumstances arose

If they were trying to kill me, sure. If the police couldn't help me. I would probably also kill to save somebody.

i'd do it if i didn't go to prison for it.

there's a few people i think the world could do without.

Under extreme conditions.

Although, never say never, as they say.

self defense, or if someone that i really appreciate is in danger...

althought thinking carefully about the second option... it leaves a door open to revenge... :uhoh: don't you think?

Well, I'd definitely go for the first one. And I think everybody would choose the same.

It's not likely, if you are being attacked that you would just sit still and do nothing as for trying as hard as you can to rescue yourself and that includes killing, if the situation demands it.

As for the second choice... Sometimes people do annoy and irritate the hell out of me to a point that makes me snap out and say awful things... but not to a point that would make me kill them or anything. Or not! :wink3: :lipsrsealed2:

self-defense, of course.

and i'd also kill to save someone... you know, when someone's in REAL danger.

For sure, I have found myself almost being able to kill someone from pure frustration.

There is a difference between killing and murder.

So as far as killing, not pre-meditated murder....

Self-defense or to save someone else's life.

Or if I see someone do something or be something so horrible, no one would ever prosecute me for killing.

It would be gloriously heroic.

*coughcoughRAUNCHY CELEBRITIEScough*

Or if it had to be pre-meditated (murder), I would hope to be the type to have a perfectly, almost certainly acceptable reason for doing it. Not anything like ''demons made me''... valid ones.

I saw a story about a woman who's children were suffering from the same inherited disease her husband had just recently died of. I think it was Huntington's Disease.

Her sons were living in care facilities and she just came in one day to see them and came out having killed them.

She later said that she did it because they asked her to. That the pain was so great they begged her because it was terminal and no one else would do it.

I totally believe that such cases have happened and often I have tried to put myself in their shoes...thinking what would I do if I had been that mother? Or wife?

I think I would.

IFFFFF it was something completely incurable, painful, and was sincerely asked to.

Wouldn't you?

I think I would ask the doctor to induce their patient into a coma. Then, if they will die then they'll die in a coma. If something weird happens that solves the pain then I would wake them up. I would also like to wake them right before they died if possible so they could say goodbye

It happened once here where a husband decided to 'kill' his wife cause she's been in a state where she was only technically alive (only breathing with machine help and nothing else) and doctors said there's almost no chance that she would recovered. This condition had been running for years and the husband (which is not a rich man at all) couldn't afford the medication anymore and he got 3 children to feed and raised. This case made lots and lots of pros and conts.

As for myself, I would do that but only after I consulted the situation with the doctors and law experts. I mean it had to be legally done.

Self-defense and saving other's life would be the reason I'd kill someone.

I'd kill if I need to. As you all said it, self defense, yeah.

Killing someone cos I want to would be quite strange, although it already crossed my mind. (yes, yes, this is true.)

To save a life, yes i'd be ready to kill.

For few persons I really love, I'd be able to kill.

in self defense or if somebody tried to kill a family member or a friend

When I finally lose it and know I don't have much time left on earth due to an incurable illness. Go out with a bang.
