Where I live barely anyone likes them, most people hate them! I just don't get it. They call it "Bad Music." And they don't even know that Coldplay is one of the biggest bands in the world if not the biggest. I tell them that and they're all like "Bullshit."

 

Bad music? There's a reason why everyone knows who they are. Maybe they should just listen to a few more than three or four of their songs. Try like 10 of their songs, not four. You can't base the biggest band in the world off of four songs.

Like Fix You. is really not one of my favourites at all....but because its been released, everyone hears it over and over and over, and hates it, calls it boring. Seriously. I've played Coldplay for people who didn't like them and now they say they are "OK." But truth is that they really like them now. One of my friends who didn't like them actually started singing along the song. LMAO

So many people just listen to what is cool or of the moment. There's a good interview on keanemusic.com with the drummer who comments on how mad it is that top man and shockwaves sponsor tours and bands and stuff just cos it's 'cool', and that it's usually the 'uncool' bands that are the best. some of today's cool kids even think The Beatles are uncool, but they are in many people's opinion one of the best bands of all time. Life's too short - Coldplay rock, as long as we know that that's all that matters - the sheep will come to their senses one day.

i mean some of my partners and friends said "ohh Coldplay is shit... they sucks.. that's not music.."

do they know what music is?

if you don't know english.. obviesly you won't understand their songs!

or at least you have to give them a shot.. and listen..

the important thing is that you enjoy their music.... it doesn't really matter what another people say... maybe for some people they're not good but it's ok.. we all have different music tastes and that's totally normal
