Coldplay Platinum Tickets

Featured Replies

I've seen some stuff around about $300 dollar platinum tickets to Coldplay concerts. It comes with backstage passes and the after party passes. Is this for every concert? Will they still sell them on the next tour? Thanks so much.

hey, where'd you see this?

there's a lot of b.s. stuff that goes about, but ticketmaster should be ligitimate...though I've never seen them offer any type of premium package for $300

Several independent ticket outlets do this to make extra cash and stay in contention with official ticket brokers. Packages will vary depending on venue, band, time of year etc etc. Your best hope is to wait for the dates to be announced and then do some searching on some "backstreet" ticket sites.

Wow, never heard of it... :stunned:

That's very interesting!

Isn't 300 dollars a bit cheap for all that's included?

Any tickets up for sale at the moment would be old or not legit as they haven't announced any tour dates yet. So I'd wait until they offically do, then do some research into who the sellers are.

I'd also be careful you know exactly what being offered before buying expensive packages - especially ones that talk about backstage passes and aftershow parties. They make it sound like they guarantee meeting the boys, access to the dressing rooms and all that, but I really really doubt they would be. Even the organised meet and greet's don't even get that kind of access. And sometimes the boys don't even attend the 'aftershow parties'. It would be horrible for anyone to have their expectations raised too much and feel ripped off... :(

If I got to know early, I would save all the money I could and live in debt but I would live happy in debt

yeah, my friend got this treatment with the rolling stones. she was convinced she would see them at the party, and they never showed up. but i think id spring for it for the really really good seat and the possibility of seeing the boys, even if only for an instant. having seats that good and seeing all that goes on behind the scenes would be worth it for my favorite band, i think. id only do it once, though.
