Just realised that my legos are actually those oversized duplo blocks. I still just think of them as legos, though.

 

It really hurts when you step on the little legos...

 

I wonder... do people have a favorite brand? Or is it just generally lego?

 

Legos are bad to have around when you're supposed to be babysitting... the kid gets bored after a few minutes, just when you're really getting into some project. At least that's how it is for me...

My favourite brand was just the regular "system" blocks. I had some technic as well, but it wasn't quite as fun.

 

I hated imitations like Mega Blocks. THey just didn't stick together right.

Hm. Hadn't thought of it. I suppose technically, if it's just name brand Lego, or if there is just one type of another kind, the plural would be Lego, but if there were several different types it would be legos- plural of a plural.

 

Heh... were you around long enough to have that class with Mr. Michaels where everyone always got into big argument about the plural of canon (canon or canons)? I think it was Canadian history...

Mr. Michaels was the greatest... my all time favorite teacher. :D I know what you mean about everything except grammar- it would feel like we just goofed off all year, (well except for the hand cramps from all the writing) but afterwards I would always realize I had learned more in his class than any. I miss his stories.

 

Just to bring it back on topic, do you remember when he developed a bit of an obsession with those edible lego blocks? I think you were around then...
