How much of an age difference??

 

Well, I'm 25, so that makes it 6 years. Which makes sense I guess, because I knew most of the 7th graders really well when I graduated, but not 6 and below.

Does Autumnjoy still post here? I've seen her a few times on the bus or at school but don't know if she recognizes me/knows who I am.

 

Yeah, she's my best friend. She's the one who told me to come here in the first place, actually. We're going to see Wintersleep together tomorrow. :dance:

 

I know she reads the news on the homepage, but I don't think she's been in the forum for a while. She'll probably be back when the new album comes out.

I'm a direct descendant of Capt. Henry Morgan...yeah, the rum guy. He was a real person. He was a Buckaneer and eventually wound up being the Governor of Jamaica. So as a kid, the pirate Lego was the best!!!

 

How about a Coldplaying Lego contest? We could all post our creations and the winner get a prize.

 

Of course, most of us would have to go out and buy Lego since we don't all have it under our beds,lol.

Hahaha. I don't have ANY Lego, but I'd be happy to go to the thrift store and buy some in the name of a silly contest.

 

It's Brigsy's thread, so I guess we should leave it up to him, but here's what I think: We all go out and buy, borrow, dust off some lego, and over the course of a month, build our best. Someone who's way too mature to enter can be the judge, and the winner gets at the very least a copy of HWSTW and useless bragging rights. We could make the deadline January 1st or thereabouts.

Having a building contest would be awesome. You want me to organize it? I think having it end January 1st or something like that would be great because people usually are on Christmas vacation at that point and may have some extra time for stuff like that.

THose were my exact reasons for thinking of ending it on New Year's Day. That and the fact that some of us might be REALLY hung over, so we won't likely be leaving the house,lol.

i LOVED legos!! (its actually my pet peeve when people call the plural 'lego' even though it may be correct :rolleyes: i just dont like the way it sounds). this pizzeria lego set was kind of my entire life for a while:

I remember that one ahaha....I never had it thuogh, but I had another set with pizza stuff.

for some reason that lego pizzeria was my favorite thing in the world even though it was small and uncomplicated and your playing with it was limited to pizzeria-related scenarios...but i think it had to do with the pizzas looking tasty...

 

i still have the set, actually. i still have all my legos. i really should bring them out so we can have that contest that never happened.

 

i also had this really great mcmansion dollhouse, but it was made by megablocks and not lego. and megablocks just don't fit together nearly as well. actually, it might not have even been megablocks...it may have been something totally unheard of. still, though, i LOVED that dollhouse to death.
