for example, at this moment I am posting on two boards. Obviously they are not the only options out there. However I feel more comfortable here and there because I've been at these boards for a while and also I have a large number of posts.

I've only been here one month and I still don't feel completely at home here, but when I first joined I was scared of posting cus I thought everyone would think I was weird:P.

 

Plus everyone sorta had this persona and I felt a little boring...

depends on the people of the board itself, if you have more things in common you will feel better there and stay...:thinking: if you feel comfy you will make more post and friend. :)

I think it took about 6 months to feel comfy here. Can't really remember the exact time though, but anyway.

It took me like a few weeks to make some forum friends, so I guess that's how long it took me to feel like I 'belong'. I also used to post on the muse.mu forum, but I stopped. I guess it was because I didn't feel like I belonged...

It took a while with the Muse board but I FUCKING LOVE IT.

The people are soooooooo funny.

And unlike this board lately, it gets a lot of traffic.

I could spend forever there, the people are so hilarious at times.
