Seriously though, I'd give up smoking. I know I should, but I still really enjoy it.

You never said what you'd give up, David.;)

Alcohol... o wait, I can't drink it anyhow :laugh3:

Or maybe my virginity when I finally find the right girl

The internet. I was fine without it. I gave it up again when I went somewhere without access for a year- just read the paper alot more instead.

But life has re-formed itself around the net. I don't know if it is even possible any more.

Oh no,could not live without the internet! :o

^Neither!

Uh...I'd give up...clock and watches, life would be so much simpler if we forgot about time.

I would give up school. everything connected to it, except for my classmates, feels so meningless and makes me sad because I feel worthless when I don't do what I'm supposed to do. blah.

I was talking to my next-door neighbour the other day, and she said apart from newspapers and little items like bread & milk which they get from the local shop, they get everything else via the internet.

I think

I already said this on a different thread, but due to lack of funds and a computer, I had to give up the internet for a while, and I thought I was going to go crazy without it,lol. Even though I had TV, radio and newspapers, I still felt like I was missing out on important information...most of it on this forum,:laugh3:. But once the initial withdrawl passed, it wasn't so bad. I could live without it again if I had to.

  • 3 weeks later...

i would give up eating and getting way too wasted.

Yeah, there is always that initial period, but then after a while you can go without easily.

I'd give up procrastination. It's my vice..... :uhoh:

I'd give up my fear to risk...

Wow, I really dunno if this expression is right...''fear to risk'' sounds kinda odd...

i'd give up my desire to be alone most of the time. i mean, i like people, but...i just really enjoy spending time by myself. i think its going to get really annoying at college when people are always going out etc...and i'm just going to want to stay in my room and be on coldplaying!
