Guitar chords/tabs to Piano

Featured Replies

How do I translate Guitar chords/tabs into piano music? Sorry if that seems a stupid question, I just have no idea about guitar at all, I've only played piano for a couple of months. For example, I'm looking at an Embrace B-Side called The Shot's Still Ringing, and the chords are C#, F#, Fm and F# - what would these be on a piano? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

On the subject of Embrace, there's a page of tabs here for anyone interested:

Would the chords still be exactly the same? I found some sites where you can transcribe guitar tabs to piano sheet. Also, some other site said there were a few ways of playing each chord, so wouldn't this change the sound each one makes?

The chords are always the same, no matter what instrument you're playing on. You just have to learn how to finger them :) (And also, if the guitar is played with a capo, you have to transpose it to play along with the record)

Yeah, also, tabnabber.com is also supposed to have a guitar-piano tab translater.
