yeah vampire weekend first album and latest album both are great. really good.

 

on their latest album, i think i like all their songs, the movement and upbringing mood makes you feel like "everything is fine". that's important for an album, to catch the emotional of listener until u'll fallling for it. it's so hard!!!! respect for musicians who can do that.

Boys Like Girls? :sick: Oh yeah, the All American Rejects were here not so long ago... Played in a frickin car park... :toilet: No offence, All American Rejects fans! :P To be honest I can't even tell the difference between the All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Fallout Boy and... Panic at the Disco. They all sound the same, too. So sad la, the Malaysian taste in music. So happy to know there are some people (ie you guys!) in Malaysia who share similar tastes as me in music. :hug: :D

they were good at MTV World Stage, tho AAR were better. Tyson's got the charisma the Boys Like Girls fella was just hyper. didn't really know their songs before i saw them at MTV World Stage, but i'm pretty hooked on a few of them now & i love Mona Lisa a lot.

 

BUT there are helluva lot of Mat Rempits who are AAR fans...totally put me off from ever wanting to see them live in Malaysia again. but then Kasabian seems to attract the British equivalent too over here...so no pitside action for me at Kasabian gigs here.
