Dissapointing series........

I agree it's not as good as the previous series but I need something to watch and it does keep me entertained. Looks like next week we find out the big secret and then the rest of the series is them trying to return the world to normal...

Just watched the 5th episode. (don't read if you're not up to 5th episode)

 

How little emotion could they of fucking used in the ending Rex just stands there and watches then pulls out a bloody video camera what the actual fuck. seriously though you wouldn't do that and it should of had me balling my eyes out at that scene.

I'm starting to think some kind of sexy space hitler is behind it.

I just watched episode seven and I was actually pretty impressed by it, I liked how it was focused on Jack and showed bits of his past.

Yea I am looking forward to that episode.

I think its too late now to try, and grab back the old torchwood viewers.

 

I am sure RTD must have knew, the orginal torchwood fans would feel a bit uneasy about the programme, they could have made like 5 episodes like they did with CoE, as there seems to up to a point now, central characters they used before in this series are all of a sudden not so important again !

A lot of people have said that this series is using a lot of filler in the episodes rather than making it shorter and making everything relevant to the story, it seems like many of the episodes we learned nothing much.

I have never been a fan infact only really watched the first series and watched a few eps of series 2, only watching this one because of the US links, don't really know why I am sticking with it, I hope it gets better I guess! I don't think Jack is getting enough air time in my book, carn't stand gwen, so her not being in it so much is fine by me!!!

Only a couple more episodes! At least they mentioned aliens in the last one...

Not long until the finale, a week and it airs in the UK but I'll probably get impatient and scared of being spoilered so I'll watch it Saturday morning.

Wow,Miracle day is fucking shockingly bad.

I liked the last episode or so but I think the first five or so aren't really needed to know what's going on. I like the concept about immortality and whether it's good or bad but I think some of the writing and the acting brought it down a bit. There are rumours that there will be a fifth series and it may be the last ever of Torchwood.

There will be a 5th Series, they left it very open, I don't think the immortality that was depicted in Miracle Day would be very good because you would still age and be able to be severely wounded and not recover.

I hope for the next series they move it back to Wales. I thought that they could've explained the blessing a bit better, and I don't think I like Rex being immortal. That said, I still enjoyed this season and I can't wait for another one!

I also heard that the next series will be more focused on Gwen. I doubt it would go back to being in Wales though with them having Gilly still part of it but it would be great if they did go back to Wales.
