January 14, 200818 yr heh...well, how often do they show british footie on american TV? i was unhealthily obsessed with the FIFA world cup two summers ago, like completely addicted, but i can never seem to get any real soccer on TV around here. besides, we're big on hockey and soccer would probably be shut off in favor of the NY rangers.
January 14, 200818 yr They show some Champions League matches on ESPN2, but other than that you will have to get FSC or some channel. Another than that, I stream matches. :D I was too obsessed with World Cup, haha. I didn't leave the house at the beginning of the summer because I wanted to watch matches. :lol:
January 14, 200818 yr i was glued to my TV for most of it, but towards the end my work started up and like every five minutes i was refreshing the FIFA webpage to get an updated score. i did get to watch the biggest matches, though...but i didnt get to see the game where ukraine was eliminated, because they were my faves...:(

January 14, 200818 yr i was rooting against france in the end...but i did really like zidane and that whole thing shocked the crap out of me. in the start i always went for the most "obscure" teams like korea or ghana because i like the underdogs to win. but my family's REALLY ukrainian, so i couldnt deny supporting my second country!

January 15, 200818 yr Ohh yeah I remember the last world cup!! I was actually in Paris at the moment, in the middle of all the action ... but when they lost it was mad scary. The city was absolutely silent. And it was also really dangerous, a lot of windows got broken, shops destroyed, etc.

January 15, 200818 yr ooh, snow! it's been snowing here all day and all the schools were cancelled because they said it would be like a foot, but its actually only like 2 inches. i didnt even have to dig my car out. it kind of pissed me off because i love snow, and my brother was home from school for no real reason :angry:
