If you never heared all the old songs from previous albums and just knew the name we would still be WTF, what kind of album is it going to be.The scientist could be a number of things but we wouldnt know a thing about the actual song.I think they are good also,mabye poppy feilds is weird and violet hill. I dont really care because all Coldplay song names are good to me. And if you dont want to buy the album its your loss!

That used to be the average length of an LP, back before we had CDs that could hold 74 or 80 minutes of music.

 

With the larger amount of space, labels pressured bands to write more songs to meet a higher quota, hence lowering the quality of some of the songs.

 

I'd rather have 10 good songs that 6 good songs and a bunch of filler.

I got really excited when I saw this on Coldplaying.com as I thought it had been confirmed, but when I saw the source I was kinda disappointed - it's just speculation repeating what we'd previously discussed.

 

Right now I just want them to confirm something, anything about the album! Title, release date, single, artwork, ANYTHING! The band are being very mean to us right now...

You can't judge a band by the song titles...

Granted there is nothing new here, nor is anything of substance confirmed.

 

However, I have to side with some on the song titles, although we are not really in a position to judge, some of the titles just don't seem Coldplay (however we have been told that this album will be like nothing previous).

 

As for the name Prospekt, I just pray that it is not the album title. It seems like some abreviation used by a poorly schooled teenager on some forum, blog etc. and not from a group which has been a beacon for refinement and good taste. Thats my opinion anyway, and now its kinda got me worried:(:confused:

who said the 4th lp will be calles prospect? its only rumers... i think 42 would be much cooler, now that i started reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy!!!

:D That's exactly what I think all of us need to come to! Have faith in them guys! So their last album was a dud, it's still their music and no one elses! And as much as you deny it, you know you still love that music even if it is the absract and 'un-coldplay' album you claim it to be!

 

Take a second to feel what they are going through, the weight of half the world on their shoulders (the other half don't have i-pods :P) plus all the trauma in their personal lives. They all have kids under the age of 6 and trust me, kids aging from 0-6 aren't exactly a walk through a meadow field (I grew up with two of 'em and the oldest is only 7!)

I'm not worried in the slightest about the titles, the exact same thing happened with Gomez's How We Operate with tracks like Woman! Man! and Chasing Ghosts With Alcohol.
