I'm a Coldplay tribute band from Liverpool called Square One and recently we decided to do a demo of stuff written by our very own "Chris Martin". Opinions would be lovely.

EDIT: It's nice stuff. You can defnitely hear the Coldplay influence. I think when any band first starts writing, they inevitably sound like their biggest nfluences. This is nice, but it'll be even nicer as you grow as writers and start to define your own sound. Good luck!:)

Cheers mate! I thought the stuff was probably a bit too 'rock' to be likened to Coldplay, but after playing all their songs every week it's probably a hard spell to get out of. I'll look out for the add.. what's on the album?

I can't really hear it myself.. but I can see what you mean with the way Dan (the singer) using the high falsetto on his voice alot. Anyway that can hardly be a bad thing for a Coldplay tribute act!
